When Trump announced Mike Pence as his pick for VP, I recall there being a bit of hand-wringing in the pro-Trump camp, that he was too mild, too milquetoast to be the best pick. Personally, I felt that the pick was going to end up being like everything else in the primaries…Trump would say something and at first people would lose their minds but once the dust settled, turned out he was right.

Given how Mr. Pence handled this interview (not having softballs lobbed at him, like the media treats every Democrat candidate; constantly using Clinton attack lines and not recognizing Trump’s explanations or counter-attacks), I’d say this is more evidence that the pick was solid:
